• Man struck crossing highway Friday

    A pedestrian was struck midday Friday at Highway 515 South and Collins Road in Jasper. The victim, 52-year-old Jeffery Lawson of Jasper, is still in Kennestone Hospital in Marietta as of today. His condition is unknown.
