Why do you feel like you are the most qualified for this position?
I bring the best of both worlds to this position – 20 years of tax, tag, and title experience coupled with accounting, business management, budget and personnel experience. I think it will take a multi dimensional person to make this office run smoothly and efficiently. I dont just have training, I’ve worked the positions!
List your qualifications/experience that is applicable to this position.
As stated in my previous answer, I have worked with dealerships as a tax, tag, title and accounting clerk for 20 years. Also in that time, I worked as a cashier, a collections manager, an Accounts Payable clerk, a branch manager, a marketing manager, and I’ve done profit and loss statements with budgetary considerations. I’ve set an office budget and stayed in it!
What do you want the voters to know about you that will help them make a decision?
I’m fair, honest, and willing to help anyone that needs it. I’m willing to pull up the bootstraps and get to work for the people of my county.
What are some issues in the PC Tax Commissioners office would you like to improve on?
Morale, efficiency, and teamwork. Also, procedures need to be streamlined and collections should be consistent.
