Pickens, would pull momentum over to their side in the the 2nd as they would use a 10-4 quarter advantage to take the lead heading into the half, 14-13.
In the 3rd, their was much more scoring as both teams finally found something that worked for them. An 18-11 quarter run gave Pickens a 32-24 lead over Chestatee going to the 4th. In the 4th, the Lady War Eagles used a 17-9 run to tie things up with the ‘Nettes at 41, to send us to overtime. In the extra period, Chestatee outscored Pickens 8-4, as a desperation three as time expired would not fall for the ‘Nettes as the Lady War Eagles took this one, 48-45.
