Alice Lucile Payne, age 87, of Jasper, Georgia passed away at her home on Thursday, September 6, 2018.

Survivors include her husband, Willis Payne of Jasper; sons and daughters-in-law, Arnold and Gayle Payne of Jasper, Ray and Jan Payne of Jasper; brother, Albert Payne of Turtletown, Tennessee; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Sunday, September 9, 2018 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Corey Rich officiating. Internment is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., at Riverhill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cherokee, North Carolina.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Saturday, September 8, 2018 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. On Sunday, September 9, 2018 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper.
