Thomas Dewey Eidson, age 79 of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. He was born August 10, 1939 to Earl and Mildred Eidson of Bath, South Carolina.

He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He loved his grandchildren and loved the time he spent with them.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Eidson of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Cheri and Tim Stark of Cumming; brothers, Peyton Eidson and Jimmy Eidson; grandchildren, Brant Stark and Cade Stark.

A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Meadows officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
