Mary Oneeda Dean, age 88 of Talking Rock, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Rhonda Dean of Talking Rock; sister, Euline Caylor of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Jeremy Dean of Talking Rock, Lauren Dean of Columbia, MO, Nicholas Dean of Talking Rock; great-grandchildren, Lucian Dean, Emily Towery; and great-great-grandchild, James.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. A. Dean; son, Danny Towery; and grandson, Cam Towery.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2018 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Wallace Parks officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, October 12, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
