Myrna Denson, age 82, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. She was born June 24, 1936 to Herman and Grace Buchanan in Tate, Georgia.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, S.A. “Will” Denson of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sandi Denson of Jasper; grandchildren, Holly and Chad Miller of Canton, Justin Denson of Denver, Colorado; great-grandchildren, Riley Miller and Avery Miller; sister, Janie Carver; and brother, Gene Buchanan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Lewis officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Jasper in honor of Myrna.
