July 16, 1953 – January 10, 2019

Mr. Larry Long, age 65 of Ludville Community, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Gordon Hospital in Calhoun.

Mr. Long is survived by his Wife: Judy Long of Ludville Community. Mother: Emolise Carver of Ludville Community. Son & Daughter-in-Law: James “Punkin” & Sounya Stokes of Talking Rock. Daughter: Stacey Hamrick of Adairsville. Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Lisa & Raymond Cantrell of Dalton, Amanda & Stephen Whitlow of Blue Ridge and Jessie & Dan Dale of Talking Rock. Brothers: Ted Long of Talking Rock, Donnie Fountain of Jerusalem Community and Lonnie Fountain of Ludville Community. Sisters: Vivian Childers of Ludville Community and Vickie Chastain of Alabama. Fourteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Six Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends Friday, January 11, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Saturday, January 12 from 8:00 AM Until 9:00 PM and Sunday January 13, from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, January 13, 2019 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jackie Chastain and Rev. Ronny Pope,  officiating.

Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.

Honorary Pallbearers: Heath Holt, Danny Childers and Roger Mulkey.

Interment will be at Ludville Church of Christ Cemetery immediately following the funeral services.
