John Wesley Craft Jr., age 71 of Talking Rock, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at his home. He was born February 9, 1948 to John Wesley and Etta Mae Craft in Columbus, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Craft of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Matt Shoffer of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Shannon Craft of Woodstock; grandchildren, Caitlyn Bell Shoffer, Clayton Matthew Shoffer, and Caroline Elizabeth Shoffer; sister and brother-in-law, Deb and Robert Pickren; sister-in-law, Patricia Cutchins; and cousin, Mary Richardson. Several nieces and nephews and other family members also survive

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
