Lester Hubert Wofford

Lester Hubert Wofford, age 89, of Jasper, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Serenity Mountain Manor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wofford; his parents, Robert and Dessie Wofford; brothers, Paul Wofford, Glenn Wofford, Jackie Wofford; and sister, Lorene Watkins.

He is survived by his sister, Vertie Moody of Canton; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Donna Wofford of Jasper; and sister-in-law, Winnell Wofford of Ball Ground. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service was held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
