Bobby Wallace Jordan
June 12, 1938 – February 12, 2019
Mr. Bobby Wallace Jordan was born on June 12, 1938 in Pickens County, where he was a life long resident.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dora Belle Jordan and Clyde Venson Jordan, and his sister Carolyne Sue Ellis.
In early adulthood, he was joined in matrimony to Lorine Wendy Poole. Later life he was married to Helen Hancock for 35 years.
He is survived by daughters: Wanda Jordan Young, Wendy Lee Stanfield, Wansley Sue Wilson, Vicky Salisbury and Son: Wesley Wallace Jordan. Also, 19 Grandchildren, 34 Great-Grand Children and One Great-Great Grandchild, and 5 nieces and nephews.
In early years he professed his faith in Christ and joined the church. He worked in various occupations including the poultry industry and the concrete bussiness.
In later years he enjoyed spending time with family, especially the children. He loved gardening, driving around on his golf cart and his tractor. His hobbies included whittling, watching westerns, football, and the Atlanta Braves on TV. He loved Kentucky Fried Chicken and Tia’s famous home- made banana pudding.
On February 12, 2019 he went home to be forever in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Visiting will begin February 13, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM
Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, February 14, 2019 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be at the Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
The family will except flowers or donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
