Mary Ruth Poole

June 7, 1930 – December 30, 2018

Ruth Poole, age 88, of Jasper, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Pruitt Health. She was born June 7, 1930 to E.J. and Hattie Moss in Jasper.

Ruth is survived by her son, Jerry Randall Poole of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Heather Poole of Jasper; grandchildren, Griffin Poole of Jasper, Fletcher Poole of Jasper; daughter-in-law, Jackie Poole of Jasper; step-grandchildren, Jake Holden of Jasper, Brad Holden of Jasper, April Holden of Jasper, Curtis Holden of Jasper; brother and sister-in-law, James and Peggy Moss of Dallas, Georgia; sister, Minnie Lee Raynes of Jasper; sisters-in-law, Barbara Moss of Winder and Margie Moss of Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Avert Poole; and sons, Danny Edward Poole and Steve Michael Poole.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Ben Mock officiating. Interment will follow in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
