Catherine Ann George

August 2, 1954 – February 27, 2019

Catherine Ann George, age 64, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. She was born August 2, 1954 in Tampa, Florida. She was a volunteer with the Bethany-Salem Fire Department.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Tim George of Jasper; children, Dale and Jean Fuston of Ball Ground, Mike and Tiffany Watson of Jasper; stepdaughter, Ashley George of Arizona; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dee and Mike Amos of Ball Ground, Shari and Pete Vermette of Tampa; brothers and sister-in-law, Matt and Val Gilbert of Arizona, Tim Gilbert of Jasper; grandchildren, Cypris Fuston, Trinity Fuston, Elijah Fuston, Kash Watson, Karlie Watson, Michael Kelley, Charles Kelley; father-in-law, John E. George of Plentywood, Montana; mother-in-law, Carol and Ron Leckey of Sydney, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Thomas Elders III and Deloris Ann Richards.

Catherine will remain in the care of the staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory as she is cremated. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
