Maxine Tippens Fountain

September 04, 1948 – June 10, 2019

Mrs. Maxine Fountain, age 70 of Jasper, passed away Monday, June 10,2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Fountain is survived by her special Nephew: Tyler & (Erica) Hughes of Jasper; special Niece: Ginger & (Robert) Blanton of Ball Ground; Sisters & Brothers-in-Law: Carlene & Bill Kincaid of Talking Rock, Yvonne & Richard Trudeau of Ball Ground; many other Nieces and Nephews that she treated as her own.

Maxine was an educator for more than thirty years. She enriched many lives through her teaching.

Mrs. Fountain is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Fountain.

The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, June 11 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, June 12 from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 12, 2019 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel with Rev David Stuart officiating.

Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
