Edwin Kenneth “Ken” Allen, age 81 of Talking Rock, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at his home. He was born February 2, 1938 to Gordon and Dossie Allen.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Allen of Talking Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Wanda Allen of White; grandchildren, Kyle and Sarah Allen of Adairsville; great granddaughter, Anna Allen.

Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Dossie Allen and son, Ricky Allen.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home and Crematory Monday, August 12, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 12, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jess Posey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family request no food be brought to the funeral home.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
