Mr. Bill Dodson, age 83 of Jasper, passed away Friday September 20, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Dodson is survived by his Wife: Carol Dodson of Jasper; Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Patti & Gordon Hughes of Atlanta, Kimberly & David Brown of Wilmington, NC; Son & Daughter-in-Law: Scotty & Kelly Carroll of Tampa, FL; seven Grandchildren: Ava, Amanda, Samantha, Joshua, Courtney, Erin and Scotty; two Great-Grandchildren; Nephew: Larry &(Sue) Dodson of Austin, TX; Niece: Teresa &(Gary) Kraske of Tulsa, OK.

Bill was preceded in death by his Parents: Elton & Ruth Dodson; Sister: Joyce Dodson; Brother: Don Dodson.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday September 24, 2019 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, with Pastor Bret Mays officiating.

The Local Chapter 47 DAV is in charge of Military Rites.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimer’s Association.
