Patsy Jane Allred Jordan, age 87, of Tate passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. Patsy was born May 21, 1932 in Tate, Georgia to Arthur Blane and Vera Ophelia Allred. She was a much loved member of the community. Her smiling face and loving nature will be missed by all who knew her.

Patsy led a very active life volunteering for numerous church programs such as: choir, bereavement committee, Awanas, outreach programs. Other volunteer work included Charter member of the Hospital Auxiliary for 50 years, Marble Valley Friends, and Amicalola Garden Club. She worked alongside her husband at Allred Jordan Drug Store in Tate for a number of years and served on the Board of Chattahoochee Tech.

Patsy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, John Jordan.

She is survived by her four children, Susan (Byron) Cairns, Blane Jordan, Morris (Peggy) Jordan, Tim (Kelly) Jordan; ten grandchildren, Stephen and Alex Cairns, Tyler (Yolanda ) and Tanner Jordan, Gil, Andy (Christy), Chris Jordan and Lucy (Jonathan) Cauthen, Corinne and Caroline Jordan. one great-grandchild, Olivia Jordan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marion and Sue Allred, Arthur B. Jr. and Linda Allred.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Jasper with Reverend Greg Pope officiating. Inurnment will follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
