Wanda Wilson, age 72, of Ball Ground, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at her home. She was born January 19, 1947 to William Edgar and Rena Mae Jordan in Cherokee County.

Wanda is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sonia Chapman of Jasper, Eddie and Virgina Chapman of Ball Ground, Joey and Christa Chapman of Dawsonville; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lamar and Kay Jordan of Talking Rock, Franklin and Patsy Jordan of Yellow Creek; Charles and Karen Jordan of Ball Ground, Glen and Ruth Ann Jordan of Ball Ground; and brother-in-law, Larry Ray of Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Wilson and sister, Elone Ray.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2019 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Steven Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. (Bethesda Baptist Church – 146 Bethesda Church Road NE, Nelson, GA 30151)

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
