Davis Henry Ellender, age 80, of Jasper passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at his home.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Jeremy Ruppenthal of Jasper; daughter, Monica Junot of Jackson, Mississippi; step-children, Barry Domangue and his husband, Kevin Welchel of Atlanta, Michelle Boone of Houma, Louisiana; ex-wife, Evelyn Ellender of Houma, Louisiana; grandchildren, Gavin Cook of Jasper, McKenna Cook of Jasper, McKenzie Ruppenthal of Jasper, Ansleigh Ruppenthal of Jasper, Jasper Ruppenthal of Jasper, Arden Ruppenthal of Jasper, Thatcher Ruppenthal of Jasper; step-grandchildren, Brandon Boone of Houma, Louisiana, Courtney Boone of Houma, Louisiana, and Zachary Domangue of Atlanta.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Ellender, seven brothers and sisters, and his parents.

Mr. Ellender will remain in the care of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory as he is cremated.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
