Bernice Cash

January 02, 1925 – January 18, 2019

Ms. Bernice Kirby Cash, Age 94, of Jasper, passed away January 18, 2019 at Canton Nursing Home, after a long illness with Alzheimer’s and Pneumonia.

Ms. Cash is survived by her Son: Charles Blackwell of Norcross. Son and Daughter-in-Law: Joe & Julie Holcomb of Canton. Daughter and Son-in-Law: Joyce and Sam Foster of Jasper.  Also surviving was Seven Grandchildren. Cindy Coolick of Oakwood; Ron Chester of Jasper; Ginger Witt of Gainsville; Rodney Chester of Dahlonga; Nathan Eaton of Charlotte, North Carolina; Chris Blackwell of Hoschton; and Tonia Seigler of Toccoa. Ms. Cash was also blessed with Twelve Great-Grandchildren: Brooke Duren Dubay, Kason Seigler, Rusty Chester, Morgan Coolick, Mary Caroline Eaton, Mya Blackwell, Emily Eaton, Jackson Blackwell, and Jake Eaton, Davis Witt, Jesse Witt, and Rebekah Witt. Niece: Sue Cobb of Cumming.

Ms. Cash was preceded in death by her Husband: Jerome H. Cash and Daughter: Mary Lou Chester.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Sunday, January 20, from 8:00 AM until the Funeral Hour.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 20, 2019 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Terry Caylor will be officiating.

Pallbearers serving are: Nathan Eaton, Seigi Taylor, Bobby Dubay, Rodney Chester, Ron Chester and Chris Blackwell.

Interment will be at Lake Forest Memorial Park immediately following the funeral services.
