Mary Carver, age 83 of Jasper, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurmond Carver; parents, Tallen Deaver and Maggie Cornett; brothers, Preston Cornett of Anderson, SC, Harpo Cornett of Ranger, and Elizabeth Waters of Jasper.

Survivors include: sister and brother-in-law; Eva and Reginald Denney; brother and sister-in-law, J C and Eldie Cornett; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Dianne Cornett: brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Howard and Judy Carver; brother-in-law, James Carver; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Edna and Emory Watson.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Ball Creek Baptist Church with Rev. William Faucett and Rev. Kenneth Kirk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Monday, October 7, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
