George Duvall Baker, age 82 of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his home. He was born March 28, 1937 to Oattis and Edyth Baker.

Mr. Baker is survived by his children, Allen Baker of Leesburg Alabama; Angela and Doug Bramlett of Fairmount; Samuel and Linda Baker of Rome; sisters, Elaine Leroy of Jenkinsburg and Cathy Qualls, grandchildren, Brittany, Lindsi and Whitney Bramlett, several nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.

He is preceded by his wives Marie Thomason Baker and Sybil Westbrook Baker.

The family will be receiving friends Friday, September 27, 2019 at Roper Funeral Home and Crematory from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019 at County Line Baptist Church with Reverend Gerald Young officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of the Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
