Virginia Louise Walker, age 74 of Jasper, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Grandview Health Center. She was born January 3, 1945 to Lester and Mae Murrell in Fannin County.

Survivors include: son, Timothy Bates of Jasper; daughter, Rebecca Bates of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Sherea and Ron Chester of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Donna Wilson of Jasper; brother, Burt Merrell of Jasper; sister, Thelma Maclhanna of Royston; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Sanford Fountain and Reverend William Faucett officiating. Interment will follow in the Arbor Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
